With Natalia Budanova, Catriona Kelly and Dolya Gavanski @ The British Library

The Women’s Battalion. Producing propaganda. Organising strikes. Many narratives of the Russian Revolution highlight the actions of key men, but what about the women? Historian Catriona Kelly, filmmaker and actress Dolya Gavanski and Natalia Budanova from the Courtauld Institute of Art talk to BBC journalist Lucy Ash about the women of the Russian Revolution.

On the 10th of July, The British Library in London screened and invited Dolya Gavansky to present the Daughters of the Revolution film to their audience. With a full venue, the event was an absolute success and the public are anticipating for the full film release in 2018.
